Miami Legal Litigation
He went to undergraduate college at the State University of New York at Fredonia, graduating with high honors Cum Laude. He was President of the Freshman Honor Society. His major study area was Accounting, with minors in Economics and Politics. The college President chose him to be on the President’s Cabinet, consisting of a small handful of right-hand people that would provide the President with a robust debate at brainstorming sessions to better the college and motivate the students.
While attending the University Of Miami School of law, he clerked for the late Manuel A. Crespo, Esq., President of the Cuban American Bar Association at the time and a Circuit Court Judge. Jack owes a lot of his understanding of the practical aspects of the practice of law to the late Judge Crespo who taught him to put his client first and live up to the word honor.
Attorney Bernstein opened his law practice in 1983. Shortly afterward, he became a partner to Neil I. Maryanoff, and they remain partners growing the South Florida Bernstein and Maryanoff firm into the powerhouse law firm it is today.
He’s currently a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Broward Bar Association, and the Nevada Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts of Florida and Nevada.
