Multi-Vehicle Crashes and Personal Injury Cases
When someone is injured in a traffic crash, that person may have grounds to file a personal injury suit if a negligent driver caused the accident. Negligence is the determining factor in personal injury cases, with actions like speeding, drinking and driving and distracted driving as leading causes in many cases.
In a typical personal injury suit, the victim, or plaintiff, will file a suit against the negligent, at-fault driver. Most accidents involve two vehicles. However, in multi-vehicle crashes it can be difficult to determine who is actually at fault. In cases like this, it is not uncommon for more than one person to be responsible.
In any situation involving a personal injury suit, it is important for you to seek help from an experienced personal injury attorney. A personal injury attorney can help you determine who is at fault in your accident while also gathering evidence to support your claim. “Normal” personal injury suits involving only one defendant are complicated enough. When there is more than one at-fault driver, it is even more complicated. Ensure you have the best chance at a positive outcome to your case by hiring a skilled personal injury attorney.
